Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing the Lady Williams and Golden Delicious varieties. The tree has a semi-upright form and bears fruit on both spurs and one-year-old shoots. Harvesting in the Southern Hemisphere occurs from mid- to late March.

The medium-sized fruits have fine-grained light cream-colored flesh with a low acidity level. The skin is bright cherry-red with dark stripes and visible white lenticels.

The variety is diploid and self-infertile; Granny Smith, Cripps Pink, and Sundowner varieties are recommended for pollination. The plant is susceptible to scab but has some resistance to powdery mildew.
