Variety description

The fruits have firm, juicy, moderately acidic flesh. The name of the variety translates as "cloudberry-colored apple" or "Ahonen's lacquered apple". The tree's foliage is green, turning yellow in the autumn.

Flowering in Southern Finland usually occurs at the end of May; the flowers are white, with a diameter of about 4 cm. The tree prefers bright areas with fertile, well-drained soil and does not tolerate excessive moisture.

To obtain a harvest, planting at least two different apple varieties for cross-pollination is required. The plant must be protected from wild animals.
