Variety description

The variety was selected in 1945 from a seedling of unknown origin, presumably a descendant of the Antonovka variety. The tree has moderate growth vigor and is distinguished by high winter hardiness, precocity, and productivity, but is prone to alternate bearing.

Fruits are large or very large, round in shape, and slightly ribbed. The skin is greenish-yellow, in places with a red blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, of moderate density, and has a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety shows low susceptibility to scab and is resistant to powdery mildew.

The consumption period for the harvest is in September. The variety is intended for technical use and is primarily used for making compotes and drying.
