The variety was obtained as a result of hybridization of Jonathan and Wagner. The tree is vigorous; its height depends on the rootstock and varies from 2.5 to 6 meters. The crown has a spherical or oval shape of medium density. Fruit-bearing on semi-dwarfing rootstocks begins in the 5th–6th year.

Fruits are large, weighing 140–180 g, round in shape with a slight cone. The skin is light green with a crimson blush; the flesh is creamy, juicy, and sweet-and-sour. The variety is self-infertile and requires the presence of pollinators. It possesses acceptable winter hardiness for the southern and central regions.

The variety is characterized by high susceptibility to scab, powdery mildew, fire blight, and rust. The fruits are of universal use, suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing.
