The variety is the result of breeding work started in 1972 and is a seedling from open pollination of the «Fuji» variety, genetically related to the «Tsugaru» variety. The fruits are large and have an attractive striped red coloration.

In terms of ripening time, it belongs to varieties whose fruits are harvested in early to mid-November. The apples have high sugar content, low acidity, and a pronounced aroma. They are suitable for fresh consumption, maintaining their quality for two to three months when stored in a refrigerator.

In agronomic practice, it is recommended to carry out measures for the prevention of physiological fruit disorders, such as bitter pit and corking of tissues.
