The variety is a tetraploid tree of medium size with a spreading crown. Entry into bearing is late, but the variety is capable of producing abundant annual yields. Due to the characteristics of its chromosome set, the variety does not produce viable pollen for pollination.
The medium to large fruits have a rounded, sometimes angular shape. The ground color is green, with a red blush appearing on the sunny side. The firm, juicy cream-colored flesh is distinguished by a pronounced sour taste and aroma. The storage life of the fruits is up to three months.
The variety is known for its hardiness and is often used in breeding work as a parent form for developing new hybrids.
