The name Allerweltsapfel was historically used as a common term for popular and widely cultivated apple varieties, in particular for the Kaiser Alexander variety. The Kaiser Alexander variety itself has been known since the early 19th century and was named after the Russian Emperor Alexander I.

The fruits of this autumn variety are large in size and have a round-flat shape. The skin is decorated with carmine-red stripes and a blush. The white flesh is characterized by juiciness, a loose structure, and a wine-sweet taste with a distinct aroma. The tree is distinguished by good winter hardiness and vigor.

The variety has a multipurpose use and is suitable for both fresh consumption and culinary processing, including the preparation of juices, mousses, and baking. The fruits are ready for consumption from October and can be stored until February.
