The variety is red-fleshed; the fruits have a sour taste and an increased tannin content. The fruits are prone to rapid browning when damaged, which requires their timely processing.

The plant is characterized by high yield and resistance to a number of major apple diseases. When growing, it is recommended to pay attention to protection against powdery mildew and branch canker.
