The variety was bred in Latvia, according to some data, by specialists of the Latvian Research Institute of Agriculture and Agricultural Economics. The variety is included in variety testing programs, within which the growth performance of the trees and their yield were studied using various rootstocks, such as B9, B396, B545, M.26 and E75.

In open sources, information on the agronomic characteristics of the fruits, tasting evaluations, as well as the resistance of the variety to diseases is limited or absent.
