Variety description

The tree is of medium size, forming a harmonious, often spreading or broad-pyramidal crown. The variety is not self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinator trees such as Golden Delicious, Elstar, or James Grieve.

The fruits are round-conical in shape, with a greenish-yellow ground color and an orange-red blush and stripes. The harvest ripens from late August to the end of September. The storage life of the fruit is limited, ranging from a few weeks to two months.

The variety possesses better resistance to scab and powdery mildew compared to the Cox’s Orange Pippin variety, however, it may be susceptible to apple tree canker and fire blight in wet areas.
