Fruits are small to medium in size, round, slightly conical, and often asymmetrical. The ground color of the skin is greenish, turning golden yellow upon ripening with a brick-red blush on the sunny side and visible lenticels. The fruit flesh is pale yellow, tender, fine-grained, juicy and sweet.
The plant is described as diploid and self-infertile, characterized by moderate vigor, and is sometimes noted as weak or slow-growing. The variety has the synonym Binet Gris and is traditionally grown in temperate climate regions.
