The variety is classified as late-autumn or winter, with fruits maturing in October. The apples have a round or flat-round shape and a yellow color with a red blush or stripes. The white, fine-grained flesh turns into a golden-yellow puree when cooked.

The tree is noted for early bearing and high yield. The variety is winter hardy; the fruits have good keeping quality, retaining their consumer properties until January-March.
