The Björn Lindberg apple variety is an autumn variety selected as a seedling in Tammisaari, Finland, in the 1940s. The tree has a standard branching growth type.

The fruits are described as juicy, for table use, with a characteristic red coloration on part of the surface. The variety is adapted to the climatic conditions of Finland, successfully growing in zones I–V.
