The tree is medium-sized, with a narrow-pyramidal crown in its young age, which requires branch training to set them in a horizontal position. The variety is characterized by early entry into fruiting. Fruits often grow in clusters, which requires thinning of the crop.

Fruits are medium-sized, round in shape, and have a green-yellow color with a red blush and stripes on most of the surface. The flesh is yellowish, tender, sweet-sour in taste with a characteristic aroma. Maturity occurs in December; fruits can be stored until March-April.

The variety is demanding on soils, preferring fertile and moderately moist loams. On dry soils, it is prone to powdery mildew, and on waterlogged soils, to frost damage due to poor wood ripening. It has moderate resistance to scab.
