Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a clone (color mutation) of the 'Rubin' apple tree, bred in the Czech Republic. The tree is medium-vigorous or vigorous, forming a spreading crown prone to thickening, requiring careful training and pruning. Resistance to scab and powdery mildew is high, to fire blight — medium.

Fruits are large or very large, weighing 180–230 g (up to 250 g), round in shape with thick, smooth skin and an intense dark red blush. The flesh is yellowish or white-green, juicy, fine-grained, with a sweet-and-sour wine flavor that improves during storage. The variety is intended for fresh consumption.

Harvest maturity occurs in late September — early October, consumer maturity — during the winter period. There is a 'Bohemia Gold' clone with yellow fruit color.
