The variety is a local historical cultivar that emerged in the second half of the 18th century. The vigorous tree is usually grown as a standard tree and can reach a height of 6–8 meters. Genetically, the variety is not related to the Weißer Rosmarin variety.

The fruits are medium-sized, oblong, with five distinct ribs, giving them an angular appearance. At maturity, the skin is whitish-yellow with a light red blush on the sunny side. The white flesh of the fruits is characterized by juiciness and a wine-acid flavor.

The variety is late-ripening, with harvest maturity occurring by mid-October. The fruits have good keeping quality and can be stored until March–April. The tree is adapted to cultivation in harsh climatic conditions and is used for traditional orchards.
