Tagliani Francesco, Castagnoli Gianfranco, Leis Michelangelo, Martinelli Alessio
10 August 2026
The variety is the result of folk selection and originates from the Valle Maira. The tree is productive, but shows a tendency toward alternate bearing. The variety possesses high resistance to scab, while it may be susceptible to bitter pit and virescence.
The fruits are medium to large in size, have an asymmetrical conical shape, and a greenish-yellow skin that can be slightly rough. The firm, crunchy flesh has a sweet-and-sour taste and aroma. Ripening occurs in September, the fruits are suitable for storage until spring, and are prone to skin shriveling without loss of flesh quality.
