Fruits are medium-sized, have a flattened shape with angular sides. The primary skin color is greenish-yellow, becoming golden-yellow upon ripening with a reddish-brown speckled or mosaic flush. Skin is slightly waxy. Flesh is creamy-white, crisp and juicy, possessing a sweet taste with honey or fruit notes.
The variety is late-ripening, harvest occurs in mid-October; fruits can be stored until January or March. The tree is characterized by medium vigor and an upright crown shape, suitable for growing as a cordon or espalier. The variety is self-sterile and requires pollinators from flowering groups C, D, or E.
Data on disease resistance is contradictory: it is reported as having both good resistance to scab and susceptibility to apple canker. The variety is considered relatively easy to grow and suitable for colder regions.
