The variety is the result of crossing Priscilla and Elstar. The trees have moderate to strong growth and are well-suited for intensive-type orchards. The variety is self-infertile and requires pollinators such as Golden Hornet, Golden Gem, and Professor Sprenger. Productivity is average, and a tendency toward alternate bearing has been noted.

The fruits are medium-sized, about 140 grams, yellow-green in color with an orange-red striped blush. The flesh is crunchy, juicy, and sweet-tart with a pronounced aroma. Shelf life is short; the fruits are prone to flesh browning and bruising.

The variety possesses high resistance to scab due to the Vf gene, as well as low susceptibility to powdery mildew and apple canker. The flowers are resistant to spring frosts. Harvesting is carried out in late July to early August.
