Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing the 'Fuji' variety with experimental material resistant to scab. The tree has medium vigor and a weeping crown type, requiring the provision of light access to the interior. Flowering is late, the onset of fruiting is rapid, and yields are regular.

Fruits are two-toned, with a purple-red blush on a green-yellow background, 75/85 mm in caliber. The flesh is firm, juicy, and sweet with a slight acidity. The variety is suitable for long-term storage: until March under normal conditions and until June in cold storage with a controlled atmosphere.

The variety possesses genetic resistance to the most common strains of scab due to the Vf gene. A color mutation of the original variety exists under the name 'Red Dalinsweet'.
