The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Elstar and X3191. The tree is characterized by medium vigor, a tendency toward easy thinning, and low alternate bearing.

The medium-sized fruits have a bicolored appearance: a yellow background with a bright orange or crimson blush and small light lenticels. The flesh is white, firm, crisp, and juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste and a sugar content of about 12 Brix.

The variety possesses genetic resistance to scab due to the Vf gene. The fruits retain their market quality until January when stored in regular refrigerators and until March under controlled atmosphere conditions.
