The variety is a clone of the Jonagold apple tree. The main difference from the parent variety is the ability of the fruits to color into an intense red significantly earlier than the standard time.

The variety belongs to the dessert group. In its morphological traits and growth characteristics, it largely inherits the characteristics of the Jonagold variety.
