Variety description

The tree belongs to type III, similar to the Golden Delicious variety, and is characterized by medium vigor. The variety is easy to prune, prone to regular fruiting, and characterized by an early start to harvesting. Regarding diseases, the variety is moderately susceptible to scab and slightly susceptible to powdery mildew.

The fruits have a slightly elongated shape and a bicolored appearance with an orange-red blush on a pale yellow background. The fruit flesh is crunchy and juicy, with a good balance of sugar and acid. The fruits are suitable for long-term storage: until the end of February under normal cooling and until the end of April under controlled atmosphere conditions.

The ripening period of the variety is mid-late. Diploid varieties with a similar flowering period are suitable for cross-pollination, such as Gala, Braeburn, Granny Smith, Cox, Fuji, or Golden Delicious.
