The variety is late-maturing; fruit harvesting falls in early October. The genetic basis for the plant's high resistance to scab is a combination of three specific resistance genes.
The fruits are characterized by firm flesh with a sweet-and-sour taste, which makes them suitable for both fresh consumption and industrial processing into concentrates. The variety shows a low degree of susceptibility to powdery mildew, which is controlled by standard agrotechnical methods.
The height and vigor of the tree depend on the rootstock used, on which the variety is grown in nurseries.
