The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, reaching a height of 7–9 meters, and has a broad open canopy with upward-directed branches. Flowering occurs in April-May with white-pink flowers. The variety is diploid and self-sterile, requiring pollinators for fruit set.

Fruits are medium or large in size, wider than their height in shape, and often asymmetrical or conical. Coloration is green-yellow with a red blush or stripes. The flesh is yellowish-green, firm or mealy, with a sweet-and-sour taste. Harvest begins from the end of September, and the fruits are noted for good keeping quality.

The variety is winter hardy (zone 6) and tolerates various soil types, including light soils. It is used primarily as a processing variety for baking, juices, purees, and compotes, although it is also suitable for fresh consumption.
