The tree is medium-sized, reaching 200–400 cm in height with an annual growth of 20–40 cm. The leaves are ovate, fresh green, turning yellow in autumn. Flowering is late, from late April to mid-May; the flowers are small and white.

The fruits are medium-sized, round or conically round in shape. Upon ripening, they color yellow with a greenish hue and a light blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, with a sweet-sour taste and a possible pear-like undertone.

The variety ripens at the end of September. The tree is undemanding regarding soil and climate, can grow in mountainous regions, but is sensitive to fire blight.
