Medium-sized fruits have a golden-yellow color, often with red stripes on the sunny side. The firm, juicy flesh has a balanced sweet-and-sour taste and a characteristic nutty aroma. Harvesting takes place from the end of September to October; the variety is suitable for consumption from October to January.

The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, reaching a height of 300–400 cm. The variety has winter hardiness at the USDA zone 6 level, withstanding temperatures down to -18...-23°C. The apple tree is self-fertile or partially self-fertile; the presence of pollinator varieties is recommended to increase yields.

The variety is used as a dessert apple and is also suitable for culinary processing, including the preparation of juices, sauces, and baked goods. Known under a number of synonyms, such as Goldparmäne, King of the Pippins, and Reine des Reinettes.
