The tree is medium-sized, forming a high-rounded crown. The fruits are medium-sized; the skin is smooth, shiny, and greenish-yellow or golden-yellow in color with a reddish or orange blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, and has a sweet-and-sour spicy taste.

Winter variety: harvest maturity occurs in September, and the fruits keep until January. Yield is medium to high, prone to biennial bearing. There is a tendency for premature fruit drop and insufficient wood winter hardiness.

The variety is demanding in terms of agricultural practices, pruning, and crown formation. It is characterized by susceptibility to scab, canker, leaf aphids and woolly aphids, as well as codling moth.
