Variety description

The variety was obtained in 1982 by crossing (Idared x Maigold) x Elstar. The tree is medium-sized, possesses strong wood and slightly drooping branches, and enters into bearing early. To maintain commercial fruit size, mandatory thinning of the fruit set is required shortly after flowering.

The fruits are medium-sized, round, with yellow-green skin and a red blush. The flesh is firm, juicy, cream-colored, with a distinct aroma. Harvesting is carried out in two stages from mid to late September. The variety is characterized by high keeping quality, maintaining consumer qualities in a refrigerator until the end of March.

The level of resistance to scab and powdery mildew is characterized as medium, and the variety is also prone to spotting. Cultivation on M9 or M26 rootstocks is recommended to control growth vigor on less fertile soils.
