The tree is medium-sized, forming a spreading, sparse crown that is easy to prune. The variety is distinguished by high yield and good fruit attachment to branches, although thinning of ovaries is recommended to maintain commercial fruit size.

The fruits are medium to large in size, round in shape, with smooth skin. The ground color is light yellow, almost entirely covered by a deep dark red blush. The flesh is white, fragrant, possesses a harmonious sweet-and-sour taste and a high sugar content.

The variety is of early winter or winter maturity; the harvest is collected in late September to early October. When keeping to a temperature regime of 2–3°C, the fruits maintain quality for 4–6 months, until January–March. The variety possesses genetic resistance to scab (Rvi6 gene) and low susceptibility to apple canker.
