The variety is a mutation of the apple Gala Venus and is characterized by low to medium tree vigor. It belongs to the mid to mid-late maturity group.

The fruits are medium to large in size and have an elongated cylindrical shape. The skin is smooth, colored in an intense red with pronounced striping, which is darker than that of the parent variety Gala Venus. The fruit flesh is juicy and crisp.

The variety is intended for commercial intensive orcharding. Recommended pollinators for it include varieties such as Granny Smith, Red Delicious, Evereste, and Prof. Sprenger.
