Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a mutation (sport) of the Gala variety. The tree has weak to medium vigor and mid-late flowering. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation in intensive orchards and requires standard canopy formation methods and support systems.

Fruits are medium to large in size, with uniform bright red coloration with a diffuse blush and smooth skin. The flesh is juicy, crisp, sweet, and aromatic. The harvest time occurs 7–10 days earlier than the standard Gala variety.

Recommended pollinators for the variety are Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Granny Smith, Evereste, and Prof. Sprenger. There is a noted potential for the variety to adapt to specific high-altitude growing conditions.
