The Fenwicks Braeburn variety is a clone of the well-known Braeburn variety. It inherited the main characteristics of the original variety, representing a winter apple tree with high-quality fruits characterized by firm, crisp flesh and a sweet-and-sour taste.

The selective breeding of this clone was aimed at changing the commercial qualities of the fruits, including the formation of a more pronounced red blush.
