The variety is a spontaneous mutation (bud mutant) of the Gala apple. The tree has a rounded, upright crown, the height of which depends on the rootstock type, and moderate resistance to major apple diseases, including scab and powdery mildew.

The fruits are medium-sized, round or round-conical in shape, distinguished by an intense red blush with dark stripes. The flesh is cream-white or light yellow in color, has a crisp texture and a sweet taste with a slight acidity.

The variety ripens in August–September. The fruits are intended for fresh consumption, feature good transportability and are suitable for long-term storage in cold storage rooms for up to 6 months.
