The variety is a mutant of the Elstar variety and inherits many characteristics of the parent variety. The mutation is aimed at changing the color intensity of the fruits, providing a redder color compared to the original variety.

In quality standards, the fruits of this variety belong to a group requiring color differentiation. Specialized agronomic characteristics, such as tree height or disease resistance, are absent in publicly available publications.
