Fruits of this variety ripen in November and are suitable for long-term storage until May. Externally, the apples are distinguished by yellow skin with a red blush on the sunny side. The variety is predominantly used in cooking, in particular for baking.

Biologically, the variety is triploid, which makes it a poor pollinator for other apple trees. Within the framework of genetic resource conservation programs, the variety was selected for its partial resistance to scab, however, it does not exhibit significant resistance to powdery mildew.
