The Ananas Reinette variety has semi-dwarf trees 2 to 4 meters tall. The fruits are small or medium-sized, golden-yellow in color, and possess juicy flesh with a characteristic pineapple aroma and a sweet taste with a slight acidity.

This is a winter variety that matures in mid-October and stores until February. The fruits are versatile in use: they are suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, baking, and processing into juice. The tree is susceptible to powdery mildew and fruit tree canker.
