The variety is an American short-stemmed mutation of the Golden Delicious variety. The tree has weak to medium vigor, becoming very weak with age, and has a small crown.

The fruits are medium-sized, yellow-colored, and possess sweet, fresh, and aromatic flesh. The harvest is collected in the second half of October; the consumption period lasts from November to March or April.

The variety is distinguished by rich and regular cropping, which begins very early, although it requires mandatory fruit thinning. Resistance to diseases and frost is characterized as medium, while the variety may be sensitive to adverse climatic conditions.
