The tree is medium-sized, with a conical crown at a young age, which becomes spreading over the years. Without the use of rootstocks, the plant height can reach 6–8 meters. The variety possesses sufficient winter hardiness down to -25 °C. Due to high yields and thin branches, trees often require support to prevent breakage.

The fruits are for fresh consumption, medium or large in size, golden-yellow in color with characteristic lenticels. The flesh is firm, juicy, and sweet. In German conditions, ripening occurs in September. Under unfavorable storage conditions, the fruits are prone to loss of turgor and shriveling.

The variety is susceptible to powdery mildew and scab, while showing relative resistance to certain types of fruit tree canker. In the Baden-Württemberg region, powdery mildew infection can manifest to a minor degree.
