The variety is a mutation of the Golden Delicious variety and is characterized by a compact, semi-dwarf growth habit typical of the spur-type group.

The fruits of this variety are intended for dessert use, are very similar in appearance and taste to the parent variety Golden Delicious, and have a yellow color. The harvest period can vary from November to April depending on the climatic conditions of the growing region.
