The tree is vigorous, with branches growing vertically and a tendency to overgrow. It is a triploid variety, therefore self-sterile and requiring the presence of other pollinator varieties. The variety is prone to biennial bearing.

The fruits are medium to large in size, ranging from round to conical in shape, often asymmetrical with ribbing. The skin is yellow-green with red stripes, an orange blush, and russeting at the base. The flesh is yellowish, firm, fine-grained, aromatic, and sweet-tasting with high acidity.

The fruits are ready for harvest in September–October. The variety is used for fresh consumption, culinary purposes, and the production of juice and cider. The variety is demanding of growing conditions, susceptible to scab and canker, and the fruits have poor keeping quality and are prone to dropping.
