The trees are vigorous, with growth slowing down with age. The crown has a weeping character with a tendency for the branches to become bare. Fruiting occurs primarily on spurs.

Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in October, consumer maturity from December. In refrigerated conditions, the apples can be stored for up to six months. The variety has low susceptibility to scab, but is prone to canker; yields can be cyclical.

The fruits have a bell shape with greenish-yellow skin, sometimes with a blush. The flesh is white or pale yellow, juicy, with a pronounced aroma and acidity. Flavor qualities develop after a storage period.
