The variety «Transparent de Croncels» is an autumn apple tree with a vigorous tree and a spreading crown. The fruits are medium or large in size, have a yellowish-white skin and loose, juicy flesh with a wine-sweet aroma. They are sensitive to damage and are not subject to long-term storage; they are used fresh and for culinary purposes.

The variety «Gelber Edelapfel» is a vigorous, long-lived tree with a wide-rounded crown and high winter hardiness. The fruits are flat-round, lemon-yellow in color, with high flesh acidity. Due to the low sugar content, the fruits are mainly used for culinary processing and cider production.
