The tree is low-vigor, suitable for cultivation in small areas. The variety is characterized by early and abundant fruiting, as well as resistance to low temperatures. The fruits are medium-sized, round, and have a yellow-green skin with a bright carmine-red blush and a characteristic waxy bloom.

The fruit flesh is white, sometimes with a pink hue, delicate and juicy, and possesses a sweet-and-sour taste. Consumption maturity occurs in late July – August; the fruit storage period is limited to two to three weeks. The variety is highly susceptible to apple scab, especially under poor aeration.
