The tree in its young age has an upright crown with steep skeletal branches; in the fruiting period, growth weakens. The variety is characterized by high susceptibility to fire blight, a medium degree of damage by scab, and an increased tendency to powdery mildew.

The fruits have an irregular shape and are sensitive to mechanical damage. The flesh is loose, mildly acidic, and aromatic. The variety is prone to rapid fruit drop upon ripening; the storage life is 8–10 days.
