The variety is vigorous, forming a wide and high canopy, reaching 5.5–7.5 meters on vigorous rootstocks. The tree is undemanding, however, on moist soils it is prone to canker, and in sheltered locations — to scab.

The fruits are medium to large in size, flat-spherical in shape, sometimes ribbed at the apex. The skin is dry and rough, yellow-green, often covered with a gray network of russeting. The flesh is light, juicy, and delicate.

The harvest is collected in early October, the consumer maturity of the fruits lasts from October to December or February. The fruits hold poorly on the branches, especially in case of moisture deficiency. The variety is of universal purpose: suitable for fresh consumption and for various types of industrial processing.
