Variety description

The variety is a mutation of the Yataka apple, obtained as a result of selecting branches with intense coloration. The tree is distinguished by a vertical crown shape with narrow branch angles. The variety has moderate resistance to apple scab. Due to its genetic proximity to Fuji, it requires the selection of other pollinator varieties.

The fruits ripen approximately 20 days earlier than the standard Fuji, in the period from October 5 to October 15. The skin has a solid dark red color. The flesh is creamy white, sweet with a slight tartness, with a sugar content of about 15% on the Brix scale and a pronounced aroma. The fruits are resistant to cracking and mechanical damage, and are prone to watercore.
