Fruits are harvested in the first half of October, consumer maturity occurs in December, shelf life is until February–March. The tree is vigorous; when using the A2 rootstock, it reaches 3.5–5.5 meters in height.

Fruits are large or very large, asymmetrical, ribbed, with a greenish ground color and a reddish-brown blush on 25% of the surface. The flesh is firm, becoming tender during storage.

The variety is characterized by good health and is weakly susceptible to scab. Used for making puree, baking, and juices, suitable for fresh consumption. Synonym — Mère de Ménage.
