The variety is of German origin and is a seedling. Currently, it is maintained in specialized genetic resource collections. The tree is characterized by very high resistance to apple canker and absence of apple aphid infestations, however, it is sensitive to scab and powdery mildew.

The fruits are round-conical in shape, slightly asymmetrical, with a diameter of about 66 mm and a length of 61 mm. The skin is smooth, greenish-yellow with an orange blush and large lenticels. The flesh is yellowish, moderately juicy and firm, darkening when cut. The taste is characterized by low acidity, moderate sweetness, and a grape aroma.
