The variety is the result of crossing hybrid HL 13 and the Topaz variety. The tree has medium vigor, forms a spreading crown, and growth intensity is lower than that of the Jonagold variety. Fruiting begins early, yields are high and regular, and fruits are formed on short and long fruit-bearing twigs.

Fruits are medium to above-medium in size, weighing 140–200 g, cuboid or round in shape, and slightly ribbed. The skin is smooth, fairly thick, yellow-green with a red or dark red blush on 60% of the surface. The flesh is cream-colored, firm, moderately juicy, and sweet-and-sour in taste.

A winter ripening variety: harvesting takes place in the first half or middle of October, consumption maturity begins from December, and storage is possible until March-April. It possesses moderate susceptibility to scab and powdery mildew, and is resistant to physiological storage disorders.
